TIMERGARA: Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has said that her brother has not sought negotiations with the government and is prepared to remain in prison rather than compromise on his principles.

Addressing PTI workers in Timergara, Aleema Khan said Imran Khan had made it clear that he would accept continued imprisonment but would not bow before the government.

She rejected reports suggesting that the PTI founder had appealed for negotiations, saying he had not asked for any concessions from the authorities.

Calling on party supporters to intensify their efforts, Aleema Khan said the time had come for workers to head towards Adiala Jail and raise their voices for the release of the PTI founder.

She urged party workers to remain united, organized, and fully prepared for the party’s upcoming political movement.

“The time has come for PTI workers to come out of their homes and play their role in the struggle for Imran Khan’s release,” she said.

During her address, Aleema Khan also criticized the country’s current situation, claiming that Pakistan is facing inflation, insecurity, and widespread uncertainty.

She further alleged that serious questions were being raised about the country’s justice system and stressed that PTI workers should continue their political struggle through unity and discipline.

The remarks come as PTI continues its campaign demanding the release of Imran Khan, who remains incarcerated in connection with multiple legal cases. The party has repeatedly maintained that the cases against its founder are politically motivated, while the government has denied those allegations and maintains that legal proceedings are being conducted in accordance with the law.

PTI leaders have recently been holding meetings and public gatherings across different parts of the country to mobilize supporters ahead of the party’s announced protest movement.

The latest statement by Aleema Khan reflects the party leadership’s continued emphasis on political mobilization and public participation as it seeks to build support for its future strategy.

Government officials have not immediately responded to Aleema Khan’s latest remarks. Meanwhile, legal proceedings involving Imran Khan and other PTI leaders continue in various courts.
