Karachi: Gold prices declined in Pakistan on Monday, in line with a drop in international bullion markets, according to the Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (PGJA).
The association said the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs3,800, bringing the new rate to Rs429,736 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs3,258, settling at Rs368,429.
In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a decline, with the price of the precious metal dropping by $38 per ounce to $4,073 per ounce.
Gold prices in Pakistan generally fluctuate in response to movements in global bullion markets and changes in the exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar.
