New York: Items collected from outside the venue of American singer Taylor Swift’s wedding have reportedly been sold for surprisingly high prices, highlighting the extraordinary enthusiasm of her fan base.
According to international media reports, New York-based artist Justin Gignac gathered discarded items from the streets surrounding Madison Square Garden while Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce were celebrating their wedding.
The collection included bottle caps, candy wrappers, police warning tape, drinking straws, disposable utensils, and even a single AirPod. Each item was preserved inside a small transparent plastic cube and offered for sale at $25.
The artist said that all of the items sold out within 24 hours, with most buyers being Taylor Swift fans eager to own a unique keepsake associated with the high-profile wedding.
Gignac described each piece as a form of conceptual art, explaining that ordinary objects can gain cultural and sentimental value when connected to a major public event.
According to the artist, he has so far sold 50 items, earning approximately $1,250, and is considering releasing more pieces from the collection if demand continues.
