ISLAMABAD: Noorine Niazi, the sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, has drawn criticism after making controversial remarks about Pakistan’s military during a media interview.
According to the interview cited in the report, Noorine Niazi alleged that the military operation referred to as “Maarka-e-Haq” was coordinated with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She also made a number of claims regarding Israel, the Abraham Accords, and former U.S. President Donald Trump.
The remarks have generated strong reactions in political and media circles.
The report also includes commentary attributed to unnamed “experts,” who argued that Noorine Niazi’s statements reflect the political narrative of the PTI founder and criticized the comments as being contrary to Pakistan’s national interests. It further claims that such remarks could be used by Indian media to reinforce its own narrative against Pakistan.
The allegations and opinions presented in the interview and by the cited commentators have not been independently verified, and there has been no official evidence presented to substantiate the claims made by Noorine Niazi.
As of the time of reporting, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had not issued an official response to the controversy surrounding the remarks.
