Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has launched a new Tourist Package Visa for citizens of seven countries, including Pakistan, as part of its efforts to simplify travel procedures and boost tourism under Vision 2030.
Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb said that since the launch of Vision 2030, the Kingdom has introduced several initiatives to make travel easier for visitors. These include the electronic tourist visa (eVisa), visa on arrival, and transit visa facilities.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, a new pilot Tourist Package Visa service has now been introduced. In its initial phase, the facility is available for travelers from Pakistan, Mexico, Indonesia, Egypt, India, Bangladesh, and Jordan.
The ministry stated that applicants purchasing an approved travel package will receive their Tourist Package Visa within a maximum of 48 hours of booking, making the process faster and more convenient for eligible travelers.
The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to attract more international tourists and strengthen the country’s tourism sector.
