Jamaat-e-Islami’s sit-in protest against the levy tax on petroleum products, high electricity costs, and inflation continues for the sixth day. 

A large number of party workers are present at the Jamaat-e-Islami sit-in at Faisal Chowk, Mall Road in Lahore. Jamaat-e-Islami demands the immediate withdrawal of the levy tax on petroleum products. The party demands that no further burden of high electricity costs and rising inflation be placed on the public. Jamaat-e-Islami urges immediate measures to provide relief to the public and curb inflation.
