Islamabad: The Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has confirmed that a meeting between the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader has been scheduled, but the exact date, time, and venue have not yet been finalized.

Speaking on Geo News’ program “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath,” Rana Sanaullah said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is ready to meet at the residence of Mahmood Achakzai or, alternatively, the meeting could take place in Parliament.

He added that if holding the meeting before February 8 negatively affects the Opposition Leader’s position, it can be rescheduled for a later date.

Meanwhile, opposition leader Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar announced that the opposition has accepted the government’s invitation for talks. He stated that after a detailed discussion following the Prime Minister’s invitation in a cabinet meeting, the opposition decided to unconditionally accept the dialogue offer.
