Dadu: A poor laborer, Abdul Raouf Brohi, a resident of Pat Gul Muhammad in the Kachho area, lost his home after a sudden fire broke out during a powerful windstorm.

According to the affected family, the fire started due to sparks from a household stove and completely destroyed the house along with all belongings. The items lost in the fire included stored wheat, household goods, and his daughter’s dowry items.

Speaking to the media, family members said that they earn their livelihood through daily wage labor and have lost everything in the tragic incident. They said nothing could be recovered from the house, leaving the family facing serious financial difficulties and emotional suffering.

Abdul Raouf Brohi said that two days have passed since the incident, but no government department or welfare organization has come forward to provide assistance. He added that he and his young children are facing severe difficulties and struggling to fulfill their basic needs.

The affected family has appealed to the Government of Sindh, Dadu district administration, MNA Sardar Rafiq Ahmed Jamali, MPA Syed Saleh Shah, Deputy Commissioner Dadu Syed Murtaza Ali Shah, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, President Asif Ali Zardari, and social welfare organizations and philanthropists to provide financial support.

The family requested immediate assistance so they can rebuild their home and restore a respectable livelihood for themselves and their children.
