SARGODHA: A rental property dispute turned violent in Sargodha when more than 20 people, including nine women, attacked Tehsil Office staff who were attempting to vacate a rented house.
According to police, the incident occurred in Tariqabad while the government team was carrying out the eviction process. During the attack, the assailants also tore the clothes of the patwari (revenue officer) on duty.
A case has been registered against all 21 individuals involved, including the nine women, and an investigation into the attack is currently underway.
Authorities have emphasized that such attacks on government officials performing official duties will not be tolerated, and law enforcement is working to ensure accountability and prevent further incidents.
