Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day Celebrated with Flag Hoisting and Cake Cutting in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: “Freedom is one of the greatest blessings bestowed upon us by Almighty Allah, and we must value it.” These views were expressed by Haji Muhammad Yasin Arain, Founder and General Secretary of Bhai Khan Welfare Association, while addressing a ceremony organized by Bhai Khan Welfare Tehsil Latifabad in Gujarati Para, Hyderabad, to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day.

The ceremony featured the hoisting of the national flag and cake cutting to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence.

Tehsil Chairman Haji Abdul Hameed Mutho, Hassan Lala, Akram Shah, Younis Abbasi, Sameer Qazi, Asghar Shah, Amjad Ali, Muhammad Akbar, Khan Muhammad, Muhammad Ismail Sheikh and a large number of people belonging to different schools of thought attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Haji Muhammad Yasin Arain said that the nation must make a commitment on Independence Day to perform its responsibilities honestly and contribute to the development, prosperity and stability of Pakistan.

Haji Abdul Hameed Mutho and other speakers said that while remembering the freedom fighters and those who struggled for the creation of Pakistan, the nation must also pay tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Army who sacrificed their lives in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

The participants expressed their commitment to Pakistan’s peace, unity, stability and progress and celebrated Independence Day with national spirit and enthusiasm.
