Dense fog in various parts of Punjab has severely affected visibility, prompting the closure of motorways at several locations to ensure public safety.

Due to intense fog, Motorway M-2 has been closed from Thokar Niaz Baig to Lillah Interchange, while Motorway M-3 remains shut from Faizpur to Samundri. In addition, Motorway M-4 has been closed from Shershah to Pindi Bhattian, and Motorway M-5 from Shershah to Zahir Pir. Motorway M-11 has also been closed from Lahore to Sambrial.

Furthermore, Motorway M-5 from Zahir Pir to Rohri has been closed for heavy traffic due to poor visibility conditions.

Traffic flow on national highways has also been affected because of the dense fog.

The Motorway Police have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during foggy conditions and to exercise extreme caution while driving.
