A grand competition was organized at Government Girls High School Bedil Baigs, Rohri, under the Art and Science streams on the occasion of STEM Day, in which the school’s female students participated with great enthusiasm and passion.
During the competition, students showcased their talents through scientific models, creative artwork, and innovative idea-based projects. The judges carefully evaluated the performances and announced the position-holding groups. The successful students were awarded cash prizes, attractive awards, and certificates of appreciation, while participation certificates were also distributed among other students to encourage their efforts.
Speaking at the ceremony, chief guest Irfan Ali Daeudpoto, Taluka Education Officer Imdad Talpur, School Headmaster Arshad Qureshi, Ms. Monica, and Madam Saharish emphasized that such educational and creative activities promote scientific thinking, research, and innovation among students, opening new doors of success for their future.
The speakers further informed that 27 schools from Sukkur district participated in the STEM competition, and Government Girls High School Rohri was the only school from Rohri to qualify. They highlighted the significant role played by students and their teachers in preparing impressive scientific and art models for the competition.
At the conclusion of the event, guests and teachers termed the STEM Day competition an important step toward highlighting academic and creative abilities and stressed that similar programs should continue to be organized in the future to nurture talent and innovation among students.
