Hyderabad: A one-day international educational workshop titled “AI-Powered Classrooms: Transforming Teaching and Learning Through Digital Innovation” was organized at the National Incubation Center (NIC), Hyderabad, by the Pakistan–U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN).
The workshop was organized by Manish Kumar, a participant of an international online training course, with the support of the U.S. Mission Pakistan and the Pakistan–U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN).
More than 30 teachers and education professionals from various districts of Sindh participated in the workshop. The participants received training on the practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, modern teaching methodologies, effective prompt-writing skills for AI tools, and the responsible and ethical use of AI in the classroom. They were also introduced to the latest digital tools through hands-on exercises and live demonstrations.
The workshop provided an excellent platform for educators from different regions of Sindh to connect, strengthen their professional networks, and exchange ideas and experiences on the effective integration of technology into education.
During the closing session, participants shared their reflections on the knowledge and skills they had gained during the workshop, exchanged experiences, and reaffirmed their commitment to incorporating artificial intelligence into the teaching process in a responsible and ethical manner.
Participants said the workshop not only enhanced their professional capabilities but also gave them the valuable opportunity to reconnect with fellow educators from across Sindh after a long time. They noted that the gathering fostered renewed enthusiasm, stronger collaboration, and a spirit of shared learning among teachers.
