Gaza: The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has responded to reports circulating about possible disarmament under international monitoring as part of a Gaza ceasefire agreement.
The statement comes ahead of a crucial meeting scheduled today in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, where representatives from Hamas, Egypt, and Israel are expected to discuss key issues, including the Gaza ceasefire, the release of hostages, governance of the territory, and the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed hope that the discussions in Egypt would yield positive results and potentially address a conflict that he described as persisting in the Middle East for 3,000 years.
