SAMARO — Report by Ahmed Khan Bhurgri: The “Murshid Peer Pathoro Colony” was inaugurated on the Bachao Bund Road in Samaro, with its organizers announcing that all basic facilities would be provided to residents.
The colony was formally inaugurated in front of Peer Hamad Petrol Pump by Sardar Ghulam Murtaza alias Raja Baba Khaskheli and Mohan Lal Sooda.
A large number of political, social, religious and prominent personalities belonging to different communities attended the inauguration ceremony.
Among those present were Shewva Kachhi, Ramchand Sooda, Moharram Khaskheli, Faqeer Naz Shahani, Faiz Shahani, Nawal Meghwar, Rana Bochia, Gulji Surmani, Comrade Pehlaj Kolhi, Rano Meghwar, Amit Goel, Pradeep Chauhan, Girdhari Kalani, Dr. Long Khaskheli, Dr. Laxhman Meghwar, Dr. Lalji Kolhi and several other notable figures.
Religious Ceremony Held
As part of the inauguration ceremony, Sardar Ghulam Murtaza alias Raja Baba Khaskheli and Mohan Lal Sooda organized a Satsang in the name of Peer Pathoro.
Devotees attended the religious gathering and participated in the Satsang according to traditional religious practices.
The gathering provided an opportunity for members of the community to come together and mark the establishment of the new residential colony.
Organizers Explain Purpose of Colony
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Sardar Ghulam Murtaza alias Raja Baba Khaskheli and Mohan Lal Sooda said the primary objective behind establishing Murshid Peer Pathoro Colony was to create an organized residential community for members of the Hindu community.
They said special attention would be given to ensuring that residents have access to basic facilities and a suitable living environment.
The organizers said the needs of families living in the colony would be given particular consideration so that residents would not have to face unnecessary difficulties.
They further stated that efforts would be made to provide residents with the necessary basic amenities and other facilities required for a comfortable living environment.

Traditional Sindhi Hospitality
During the ceremony, Mohan Lal Sooda welcomed Sardar Raja Baba Khaskheli in a traditional manner by presenting him with a Sindhi turban (Pagri).
Other distinguished guests who attended the ceremony were also presented with Ajraks, a traditional Sindhi shawl and a symbol of Sindhi culture and hospitality.
The presentation of Ajraks to the guests added a traditional cultural element to the inauguration ceremony and highlighted the region’s long-standing traditions of welcoming and honoring visitors.
The organizers said the establishment of Murshid Peer Pathoro Colony was aimed at creating a well-organized residential area where families could have access to essential facilities and a peaceful environment.
