Rescue 1122 teams have recovered the body of a young man from the River Chenab near Khan Garh, where five people went missing at Ganga Wala Patan near Rohelanwali.

According to Rescue 1122, the body was found during a search and rescue operation that began this morning. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Makki.

Rescue teams are continuing their search for the other missing people using several techniques, including boat searches, scuba diving and line-search methods.

District Emergency Officer Ubaidullah Khan is supervising the operation. Community Emergency Response Teams are also working alongside Rescue 1122 to locate those still missing. The search operation remains under way.
