Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has categorically rejected the possibility of direct negotiations with Israel, stating that such talks would destabilize Lebanon and undermine the المقاومة movement.
In a strong statement, Qassem described direct engagement with Israel as unacceptable, even calling it a “sin,” and emphasized that Hezbollah would not enter into any direct dialogue under current circumstances. He urged authorities to avoid direct negotiations and instead consider indirect channels if communication is necessary.
The Hezbollah chief reiterated that the group’s resistance remains strong and cannot be defeated. He stressed that Hezbollah would continue to defend Lebanon and its people, regardless of external pressure or threats.
“We will not lay down our weapons,” Qassem said, adding that the organization is committed to maintaining its defensive capabilities. He also declared that Hezbollah would not back down, bow, or accept defeat, reinforcing the group’s long-standing stance against Israel.
His remarks come amid ongoing tensions in the region, where clashes and military activities have raised concerns about further escalation. Hezbollah’s position signals a continuation of its hardline approach, rejecting diplomatic normalization with Israel while maintaining its focus on resistance.
