Karachi: An LNG cargo from Qatar carrying 81,936 metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) has arrived at Port Qasim.

According to Port Qasim Authority spokesperson Asad Waris, the LNG carrier Al Marona arrived at Port Qasim carrying the shipment from Qatar.

The spokesperson said the vessel has been berthed at Port Qasim Terminal 2.

The arrival of the cargo comes as Pakistan continues to rely on LNG imports to meet its energy requirements and maintain gas supplies.
