Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has said the party will not participate in any process to create new administrative units until its founder, Imran Khan, gives his opinion.
Speaking to Geo News in Sanghar, Raja said Imran Khan should first be included in dialogue before discussions on the issue move forward. He added that PTI stands with the people of Sindh and their rights.
Raja also rejected the legitimacy of the current parliament, calling it a “Form 47 assembly” and saying PTI does not accept the 26th and 27th constitutional amendments.
He argued that new provinces or administrative units cannot be created without a constitutional amendment and claimed the current assemblies do not have the authority to make such changes. He called for transparent elections and the return of elected representatives to parliament.
