Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that the peace, prosperity and welfare of the people of Balochistan remain at the centre of state efforts.
According to ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison, where he met commanders and commanding officers of field formations. He was briefed on the province’s security situation, operational preparedness and ongoing measures to maintain peace and stability.
The meeting also reviewed institutional coordination and support for Balochistan’s socio-economic development.
The field marshal praised the professionalism, operational readiness and commitment of army personnel and stressed continued coordination between law-enforcement agencies and other state institutions.
He said a stable and secure environment would help promote development projects and create greater economic opportunities in the province.
Field Marshal Asim Munir also paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and appreciated the dedication and steadfastness of officers and soldiers in performing their duties.
