Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail  called on Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan in Islamabad and discussed road projects in the province.

The meeting focused on the N-25 Karachi, Quetta, Chaman Pakistan Expressway, National Highway Authority (NHA) projects and other issues related to Balochistan’s communications sector.

Aleem Khan said the Rs415 billion N-25 project was being developed according to modern requirements and would reduce travel time between Karachi and Quetta. He said the Karachi-Quetta-Chaman route would become an important trade corridor for Balochistan.

The federal minister assured timely completion of Balochistan’s highway projects, including the Zhob Bypass. Federal Secretary Communications and NHA Chairman also attended the meeting. Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail appreciated the NHA’s efforts in Balochistan and thanked Abdul Aleem Khan for the N-25 project.
