Establishment Division has postponed the nomination of 25 government officers for the 47th Mid-Career Management Course, which is mandatory for promotion from Grade 18 to Grade 19.
According to the notification, the postponed nominations include three officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service, 18 officers of the Police Service of Pakistan, two officers of the Office Management Group and two officers of the Postal Group. The Pakistan Administrative Service officers include Muhammad Sohaib Butt, Zain ul Abideen Memon and Sara Javed.
The Police Service officers whose nominations have been postponed include Imran Razaq, Tahir Mustafa, Muhammad Naeem Shahid, Abdul Khaliq, Ali Raza, Rizwan Tariq, Nausherwan Ali, Ghayur Ahmed Khan, Dr Anam Faryal Afzal, Asma Rauf, Hina Naik, Bakht, Muhammad Nabil, Arsalan Zahid, Ikhlasullah, Irfan Aamir, Rafatullah Khan and Irtza Kamil. Muhammad Salman Liaquat is also among the officers affected.
The nominations of Mohsin Ali and Maryam Haya from the Office Management Group and Ayesha Komal and Muhammad Umar Farooq Mehr from the Postal Group have also been postponed. The officers include both federal and provincial officials who had previously been nominated for the course in May and July.
The Establishment Division said new dates for the training would be announced later. It has also sent correspondence to the Rector of the National School of Public Policy regarding the postponement.
