Senior Pakistani actor Syed Mohsin Gilani has claimed that he has a jinn with him, saying the entity has been associated with him for the past 10 to 12 years.
In a recent interview, Gilani discussed various aspects of his personal life and made claims about his alleged experiences with jinns.
He said that a jinn named Najeeb is currently with him and has remained with him for around a decade.
Gilani claimed that the jinn was passed down through his ancestors. He said his forefathers and father had knowledge of the Quran and suggested that people possessing such religious knowledge may have jinns associated with their families across generations.
The veteran actor said he had never directly met the jinns but claimed that they make their presence felt through different experiences. He alleged that they sometimes play tricks and hide objects.
Gilani also said that many stories circulating about jinns are untrue and acknowledged that many people do not believe in their existence.
He added that jinns are also creations of Allah and claimed that they generally remain afraid of humans. According to Gilani, jinns particularly like sweet foods.
