SUKKUR : President of Milad Mustafa Committee Pakistan Muhammad Yaseen Saeedi and General Secretary Haji Shakeel Ahmed Siddiqui have announced that, as in previous years, an awareness camp will be established at Ghanta Ghar, Sukkur, as part of the Welcome Rabi-ul-Awwal celebrations.
Speaking to the media, the committee leaders said various programmes and awareness campaigns would be organized during the sacred month of Rabi-ul-Awwal to promote the message of love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and remembrance of Madina Munawwara.
They said Qawwali and other programmes would be arranged through sound systems installed on trucks. At the same time, inappropriate and unlawful activities would be strictly monitored, and legal action would be taken against those involved in objectionable practices or violations of the law.
President Muhammad Yaseen Saeedi and General Secretary Haji Shakeel Ahmed Siddiqui appealed to religious scholars and Muftis to ensure that Rabi-ul-Awwal processions follow the निर्धारित schedule and conclude peacefully and on time, so that a message of discipline, religious tolerance and love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) could be promoted throughout the city.
They also appealed to citizens to participate enthusiastically in Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations, cooperate with the administration and law-enforcement agencies, and refrain from becoming involved in any illegal or immoral activities.
