Auburn, Washington: In a bizarre incident, police in Washington state “arrested” a goat that attempted to force its way into an old-age home. The story quickly went viral after the Auburn Police Department shared photos of the goat on social media.
Officials said they were contacted by Wezley Homes, the care facility, after staff reported that a goat was trying to enter the building. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the goat attempting to get inside.
The police safely “detained” the animal and, shortly afterward, handed it over to a friend of the goat’s owner. The goat, named Ruby, even posed for a photo with the officers before being returned home.
The police confirmed that no charges were filed due to the goat’s “innocent intentions,” and Ruby returned safely to her owner’s home.
The amusing incident quickly gained attention on social media, with users praising the officers for their careful handling of the unusual situation and sharing the goat’s playful photo.
This event serves as a lighthearted reminder that sometimes law enforcement encounters challenges beyond the ordinary—sometimes even involving four-legged “suspects.”
