Rawalpindi: Proceedings have been initiated to declare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi and others as proclaimed offenders, following the orders of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC). Notices have been affixed at multiple locations, including the judicial complex, to summon the accused.

Along with Suhail Afridi, Meena Khan, Amjad Khan, Shafiullah Jan, and Amjad Afridi have also been directed to appear before the court. The notices have been issued under Section 87 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

According to the notices, the accused have not complied with court orders or have remained absconding. The notices serve as a final warning to appear in court, stating that failure to do so will result in legal action against them.

This step underscores the court’s strict enforcement measures to ensure compliance with judicial directives and maintain accountability of the accused.
