Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has assured that his country will extend full cooperation to Pakistan in combating terrorism.
Speaking at a joint press conference alongside Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Anwar Ibrahim emphasized that peace between Pakistan and India is essential for stability in the region. He reiterated Malaysia’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism.
Highlighting the growing bilateral relationship, Ibrahim noted that ties between Pakistan and Malaysia have strengthened over time.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, meanwhile, described Malaysia as his “second home,” expressing gratitude to the Malaysian government and people for their warm reception. He underlined that Pakistan and Malaysia continue to enjoy close and friendly relations built on mutual respect and cooperation.
