KARACHI: Pakistani actress and model Huma Saleem has accused an unnamed Pakistan cricketer of harassment, deception, fraud, and defamation, saying she is preparing to pursue legal action and present evidence through her legal team.

In a series of Instagram Stories, Huma Saleem alleged that the cricketer had subjected her to prolonged mental distress and had attempted to damage her reputation. However, she did not identify the individual by name, and the allegations remain unverified. There has been no public response from the cricketer or the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding her claims.

Sharing her statement on social media, Huma wrote that she had decided to speak out because, in her view, the individual’s actions had crossed all limits.

“I want to expose a cricketer who has gone beyond the limits of deception, fraud, character assassination, and harassment,” she wrote.

The actress said she has had no contact with the cricketer for the past two months, but alleged that whenever she tries to move on with her life, he reappears and causes her emotional distress.

“I have not been in contact with this cricketer for two months, but whenever I try to move forward, he comes back and mentally disturbs me,” she stated.

She added that no woman would willingly risk her public image unless she believed the situation had become unbearable.

Huma also claimed that the cricketer had attempted to damage her reputation by contacting her family members, friends, and professional colleagues.

According to her statement, the alleged conduct continued both during and after their relationship.

“He messaged me, my family, my friends, and even my colleagues in an attempt to defame me,” she alleged, adding that she had faced similar behavior while they were together and after she resumed her professional work.

The actress further alleged that members of the cricketer’s family were also involved in efforts to discredit her, though she did not provide supporting evidence in her social media posts.

Huma said she had remained silent despite what she described as an emotionally painful and abusive relationship, but had now decided to speak publicly because she felt her patience had been exhausted.

“I remained silent despite being in a painful and emotionally abusive relationship, but I have now reached my limit,” she wrote.

She also claimed that her legal team would soon reveal the identity of the cricketer and present evidence supporting her allegations. In addition, she alleged that information regarding the individual’s conduct during recent hotel stays funded by the Pakistan Cricket Board would also be disclosed through legal channels.

The actress maintained that there are “two sides to every story” and accused the unnamed cricketer of misleading others and tarnishing her reputation.

As of now, the allegations have not been independently verified, and no court has ruled on the matter. The cricketer referred to in the posts has not been publicly identified, and neither the individual nor the PCB has issued an official statement responding to the claims.

The matter is likely to attract further attention if legal proceedings are initiated or additional evidence is presented by either party. Until then, the allegations remain claims made by the actress and should be treated as such pending any official investigation or response.
