Karachi: Sindh’s Labour Minister Saeed Ghani has called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to clarify the accusations made by Punjab’s Information Minister Uzma Bukhari that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was conspiring against the premier. Ghani urged Shehbaz Sharif to explain what specific “conspiracy” Bilawal was being accused of.
Speaking on Geo Pakistan, Ghani stated that Bilawal Bhutto had not criticized the Punjab government’s performance but instead appreciated it, while also appealing to the Prime Minister for greater assistance to flood victims.
He questioned why such a situation was being created that might alienate the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) from the federal government. Ghani emphasized that the federal coalition relies on PPP’s votes in both the Senate and the National Assembly, and warned that the party would not want political rifts to lead to instability or push the country further toward an economic crisis.
The remarks reflect ongoing tensions within the ruling coalition, as the PPP continues to express concerns over governance issues and federal-provincial coordination, while stressing that political unity is essential in the face of national challenges.
