After being released from Israeli custody, 137 social activists from the Global Solidarity Flotilla reached Istanbul, Turkey.
According to Arab media, the group includes 36 Turkish citizens along with activists from the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Algeria, Mauritania, Malaysia, Bahrain, Morocco, Switzerland, and Tunisia.
Reports confirm that around 450 activists from the flotilla still remain detained in Israel. Among them are former Pakistani senator Mushtaq Ahmed and several other Pakistani citizens.
Meanwhile, despite Israeli aggression, another aid flotilla carrying international humanitarian activists has set sail towards Gaza, determined to deliver essential supplies to the besieged territory.
