LONDON: A historic mansion in Richmond, southwest London, where former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan lived with his former wife Jemima Khan and her mother Lady Annabel Goldsmith during and after their marriage, has been put on the market with an asking price of £25 million.
The property, known as Ormeley Lodge, is a detached 10-bedroom residence located on Ham Common, close to Richmond Park, one of London’s largest and most historic royal parks.
According to the property’s listing, the Georgian-era mansion dates back to the early years of the Georgian period and spans approximately 15,814 square feet.
The estate includes 10 bedrooms, seven bathrooms, extensive landscaped gardens, and a separate cottage, offering a combination of historic architecture and modern residential amenities.
Ormeley Lodge is regarded as one of the notable historic properties in the Richmond area and has long attracted public interest because of its association with Imran Khan and the Goldsmith family.
According to reports, Imran Khan resided at the house with Jemima Khan during their marriage and continued to spend time there after their divorce.
The property also has significance in relation to Pakistan’s media history. It was from this residence that Imran Khan reportedly recorded regular video messages and television appearances in support of Geo News’ “Pukaar” fundraising campaign following Pakistan’s devastating floods in 2006, appealing for humanitarian assistance for flood victims.
The listing of the mansion marks the latest chapter in the history of the well-known residence, which combines architectural heritage with its association with prominent public figures from both Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
The reported £25 million asking price reflects the property’s historic significance, location in one of London’s most sought-after residential districts, and its extensive grounds and facilities.
