ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has called on all parties involved in the escalating Iran-U.S. tensions to uphold the commitments made under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and exercise restraint to prevent further instability in the region.

In a statement, Foreign Office spokesperson said Pakistan is deeply concerned about the growing tensions and stressed that the outbreak of a new conflict would serve no one’s interests.

The spokesperson urged all sides to avoid actions that could further undermine regional peace and stability, emphasizing the importance of patience and restraint.

“Continuous engagement, dialogue, and diplomacy remain the only viable path to achieving lasting peace,” the statement said, adding that there is no substitute for diplomatic efforts in resolving regional disputes.
