Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has written a letter to National Assembly (NA) Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in which he has invited him to attend the ceremony to be held to offer condolences over the martyrdom of Iran’s supreme leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei,
The ceremony will be held in Tehran on July 3, 2026.
In his letter, the speaker also expressed his good wishes for the NA speaker, members of the National Assembly as well as the Pakistani nation.
He lauded the strategic and brotherly ties between Iran and Pakistan.
Ghalibaf also expressed the desire to further strengthen these relations, which are based on dignity, honour and mutual cooperation.
The NA speaker thanked his Iranian counterpart for inviting him to the event.
