Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to initiate disciplinary action against member of National Assembly (MNA) Iqbal Afridi over alleged violation of party discipline after an argument with fellow MNA, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to the party sources, PTI’s parliamentary party has decided to remove Afridi from the party and all the party positions with immediate effect. Sources said that his basic party membership is likely to be suspended.
In this regard a show-case notice will be issued to Afridi in the coming days and he will be directed to explain his code of conduct.
Earlier MNA Iqbal Afridi had faced suspension from the National Assembly parliamentary party for failing to follow party discipline.
He was reinstated after efforts made by PTI chairman Barrister Gohar but he fought again.
In recent incident MNA Iqbal Afridi quarreled with MNA Sibghatullah, which led party to take decision against him
