Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Pakistan Armed Forces defeated the enemy on the battlefield, and this victory was not only of weapons but also of determination, courage, and morale.
Addressing a ceremony titled “Marka-e-Haq,” Bilawal Bhutto said that a year ago Pakistan was going through a phase of uncertainty. He added that the enemy believed it could weaken or divide Pakistan, but that assumption proved wrong as it did not understand the resilience of the Pakistani nation.
He praised the armed forces for defending the country with bravery, discipline, and dignity, saying their response on the battlefield demonstrated strength and professionalism. According to him, the victory was a result of national unity and collective resolve.
Bilawal Bhutto stated that Pakistan will never surrender or compromise on its sovereignty. He said that from the northern mountains to the shores of the Arabian Sea, the entire nation stood united during difficult times, forming a strong front against challenges.
He termed “Marka-e-Haq” a golden chapter in Pakistan’s history and also appreciated the role of diplomats, saying they effectively represented Pakistan’s stance on the global stage and countered the narrative of the enemy through strong diplomacy.
He emphasized that history is not made by noise but by actions, and after success comes responsibility to further strengthen the country. He also said Pakistan believes in peace, but it must be based on mutual respect and dignity.
