A quadcopter drone attack on a cricket ground in Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, left three people injured, according to security sources.

The incident took place in the Mamond area, where a group referred to by authorities as Fitna al-Khawarij allegedly carried out the हमला using a quadcopter. The attack occurred while a cricket match was underway, causing panic among players and spectators.

Security officials confirmed that three individuals sustained injuries in the strike. Local sources also verified that the हमला targeted the ground during active play.

The Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur noted that the region has witnessed multiple امنیت-related incidents in recent months. During March and April, mortar shells were reportedly fired in Mamond and Salarzai areas. He also mentioned earlier cross-border firing incidents that resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children.

Security forces, according to officials, are responding firmly to such threats and are targeting militant positions and supporting infrastructure.
