PSL 11: Hyderabad Kingsmen Beat Multan Sultans by 8 Wickets, Knock Them Out of Final Race

LAHORE: In the first Eliminator of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11, Hyderabad Kingsmen delivered a dominant performance, defeating Multan Sultans by 8 wickets and eliminating them from the race to the final.

The match was played at Gaddafi Stadium, where Hyderabad Kingsmen won the toss and chose to field first.

Batting first, Multan Sultans posted 159 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Shan Masood played a standout innings, scoring an unbeaten 69 runs off 46 balls. Other contributors included Sahibzada Farhan with 15 runs, Steve Smith with 13, and Mohammad Nawaz with 18 runs.

For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Mohammad Ali, Hunain Shah, and Akif Javed picked up 2 wickets each, restricting Multan from posting a more competitive total.

In response, Hyderabad Kingsmen chased down the target of 160 runs comfortably, losing only 2 wickets and reaching the total in the 16th over.

The convincing victory sends Hyderabad Kingsmen into the next stage of the tournament, while Multan Sultans are officially knocked out of PSL 11.
