LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to begin preparations for the upcoming local government elections in Punjab.
A meeting chaired by PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah directed party office-bearers to start preparations for the elections.
Rana Sanaullah also instructed party leaders to launch an active political campaign across Punjab at the division, district, tehsil and union council levels.
Party officials were directed to strengthen their organizational activities and prepare at the grassroots level ahead of the local government polls.
The meeting also discussed the issue of creating new provinces.
The PML-N’s decision to begin election preparations indicates that the party is seeking to strengthen its presence at the local level and mobilize its workers across Punjab ahead of the electoral process.
