KARACHI: An illegal gas-filling station has reportedly been set up inside a Qingqi rickshaw at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Chowrangi in Karachi, with a video of the activity going viral on social media.
According to the report, the rickshaw has no number plate and is allegedly being used to fill gas into other rickshaws.
The unusual setup has raised serious safety concerns, as storing and transferring gas through an unauthorized mobile facility could pose a significant risk to motorists, pedestrians and nearby residents.
The viral video has also drawn attention to the need for authorities to take action against illegal gas-filling activities and ensure that vehicles and gas facilities comply with safety regulations.
Authorities have yet to provide details about any action taken against those allegedly involved.
