KARACHI: Rain with thunderstorms is expected in Karachi from September 14, according to the Meteorological Department.
The weather system may also bring rain to several other parts of Sindh, including Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, Hyderabad, Sanghar, Khairpur and Jamshoro.
In Karachi, light rain and thunderstorms are expected from September 14 to 16. Temperatures may also drop after the rain.
Meanwhile, the Sindh PDMA has issued an advisory and directed district administrations and relevant departments to keep staff and machinery ready.
Citizens are advised to take precautions during thunderstorms and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rain.
