SUKKUR: The administration of Union Council (UC) 04 conducted a field visit to inspect sanitation, street lighting and other public welfare facilities in the area.
UC-04 Chairman Yasin Arain, Vice Chairman Advocate Saleem Magsi, and Ward 03 General Councillor Ranjhan Magsi visited different parts of the union council as part of their routine inspection.
Special Reporter of Pak Soch News Anis Sheikh also accompanied the elected representatives during the visit.
The officials inspected cleanliness arrangements, streetlights and other issues affecting residents. They also reviewed the overall condition of public facilities and discussed measures to address problems identified during the visit.
Speaking to the media, UC-04 Chairman Yasin Arain said that sanitation and street lighting were being monitored on a daily basis.
“Our objective is to make UC-04 a model union council where residents receive basic facilities on time,” he said.
He added that the administration was regularly monitoring conditions in different parts of the area to identify problems and ensure that they were addressed promptly.
Vice Chairman Advocate Saleem Magsi said that elected representatives remained present in the field to respond to public complaints.
He said that whenever sanitation or lighting problems were reported, efforts were made to have them resolved immediately.
Ward 03 General Councillor Ranjhan Magsi said that serving the public was their responsibility and that they were working day and night to improve facilities for residents.
He expressed hope that UC-04 would eventually become an exemplary area through continued efforts and cooperation between the local administration and residents.
The elected representatives also emphasized the importance of maintaining regular contact with local communities so that public complaints could be identified and addressed without unnecessary delay.
Residents of the area welcomed the visit and appreciated the elected representatives for personally inspecting local issues instead of relying solely on reports from municipal staff.
Local residents said that the presence of the chairman, vice chairman and councillor in the field was encouraging and could help ensure that problems relating to cleanliness and street lighting received timely attention.
They also expressed hope that the monitoring process would continue regularly and that identified issues would be resolved on a permanent basis.
The UC-04 administration said it would continue field visits and monitoring activities as part of its efforts to improve basic municipal services and make the area cleaner,’ stated focus on direct public engagement and monitoring of civic better lit and more convenient for residents.
