British King Charles III and Queen Camilla have arrived at the White House, where they were warmly received by U.S. President Donald Trump.
President Trump said that the British monarch would be “completely safe” during his stay in the United States and described the royal visit as a positive and significant development.
King Charles is currently on a four-day official visit to the U.S. During his trip, he is expected to participate in events marking the 250th anniversary celebrations of the United States.
According to officials, the King will also address the U.S. Congress and visit the memorial dedicated to the victims of the September 11 attacks.
