NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Lawyers in Naushahro Feroze boycotted court proceedings and staged a protest demonstration on the call of the Sindh Bar Council against proposals to divide Sindh and create new provinces.
The protest was led by Advocate Abdul Sattar Leharani, Advocate Muhammad Ayaz Marri, Advocate Shaukat Ali Bohio, Advocate Zahid Ali Shah, Advocate Riaz Hussain Solangi, Advocate Abdul Qadir Khanzada and other members of the legal fraternity.
The protesting lawyers raised slogans against any proposal aimed at dividing Sindh and expressed strong opposition to statements regarding the creation of new administrative provinces in the country.
Speaking to the media during the demonstration, the lawyers said they would not accept the division of Sindh or the creation of new provinces from its territory under any circumstances. They described such proposals as an attack on the unity and integrity
