KARACHI: A child was killed after a dumper truck hit a motorcycle in Korangi No. 6 area of Karachi.
According to SSP Korangi, the accident occurred in Korangi No. 6, where the dumper collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the death of the child.
Following the accident, people at the scene caught the dumper driver. Police later rescued and arrested the driver after he was injured by the crowd.
According to a police spokesperson, people became enraged following the child’s death and staged a protest. During the protest, an angry crowd set one dumper on fire and damaged another vehicle.
Police took control of the situation and arrested the driver. Further investigation into the accident is underway.
