Pakistan has issued a tender for an LNG cargo for September for the third time, seeking bids from international suppliers.

Pakistan LNG Limited has invited bids for delivery between September 12 and 16. The deadline for submitting bids is September 8, with the offers scheduled to be opened on the same day.

The government had previously invited tenders twice for September but cancelled both after receiving bids that were considered too expensive.

The latest tender comes as Pakistan continues efforts to secure LNG supplies while managing import costs and meeting the country’s energy requirements.
