A video showing a citizen getting his hair styled at the District Police Officer’s office in Haripur has gone viral on social media, prompting action from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief.
According to police officials, the man seen in the video is a YouTuber who had requested permission to get his hair styled at the DPO’s office. A barber was subsequently called to the office. Officials said the DPO was not present when the video was recorded.
Following the video’s circulation online, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General Zulfiqar Hameed took notice of the incident and directed the Hazara Regional Police Officer to conduct a detailed inquiry and submit a report.
