SUKKUR: Dawat-e-Islami organized a Mehfil-e-Milad in the Library Hall of the District and Sessions Court Sukkur to commemorate Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ.
The gathering was attended by Dawat-e-Islami’s Nigran-e-Pakistan Haji Shahid Attari, Shura member Haji Muhammad Ali Attari, other officials, Sessions Judge Allah Bachayo Gabol, several respected judges and a large number of senior lawyers.
Haji Imran Attari, Nigran of the Central Shura and a member of the Shura, delivered a special speech on social reform and moral character in the light of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
He said Allah Almighty blessed Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with perfect qualities and sent him as a mercy for all creation. He highlighted how the Holy Prophet ﷺ transformed the society of the era of ignorance and trained his companions in a way that their lives became examples for humanity.
Haji Imran Attari said every aspect of the Prophet’s ﷺ blessed life provides guidance, reform and a path toward salvation. He added that adopting the Sunnah in daily life can bring positive changes at both individual and societal levels.
He stressed that self-reform is essential, although people may generally find criticism or advice about their shortcomings difficult to accept. According to him, correction delivered with love, wisdom and good manners is more effective and lasting.
He said one of the major problems facing society today is that education exists, but character building and proper moral training are often lacking. He emphasized that people should not only transfer knowledge but also help shape the character of future generations.
Haji Imran Attari urged people to develop qualities such as compassion, humility, love, modesty and respect alongside good speech and conduct.
He emphasized that people from every walk of life should strive to adopt these qualities so that individuals and society as a whole can become exemplary and follow the path of righteousness. said a good person contributes to developing positive character in others, and society today urgently needs such individuals. He added that the companions of the Holy Prophet ﷺ were trained nearly 1,500 years ago to demonstrate such exemplary character.
He emphasized that people from every walk of life should strive to adopt these qualities so that individuals and society as a whole can become exemplary and follow the path of righteousness.
