BADIN: Hyderabad Division Commissioner Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi visited Itehad Home in Badin, a welfare institution providing care, education and training to orphan and deserving children. He reviewed the educational and residential facilities available to the children.
Deputy Commissioner Badin Yasir Bhatti also accompanied him. The commissioner visited classrooms and residential areas and interacted with children and teachers. He expressed satisfaction with the overall arrangements and facilities.
Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi appreciated the vision and efforts of former Sindh Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon in establishing a quality welfare and educational institution for orphan children in Badin.
He praised the institution’s efforts in providing proper care, quality education, moral training and discipline. He said such children should never feel deprived or isolated from society and must be given equal opportunities to pursue education and become confident and productive citizens.
The commissioner emphasized that government institutions, welfare organizations and all segments of society must work together to ensure a safe, dignified and better future for every child.
