ISLAMABAD — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that hostile forces tried to create divisions among Muslim countries, but the attempt was foiled under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

Addressing the National Seerat Conference, the prime minister praised Asim Munir’s role in promoting peace and highlighted the historic defence agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.

Shehbaz Sharif said Saudi Arabia and Türkiye had always supported Pakistan in difficult times. He particularly praised Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for standing firmly with Pakistan.

The prime minister said the nation remained united during the conflict with India and that efforts to create hatred among Muslim countries had failed.

He also stressed the importance of the younger generation, saying the future of Pakistan would depend on how the next generation was educated and trained.

The prime minister praised religious scholars for continuing the tradition of the Seerat Conference and said the gathering was a reminder that Muslims are one community and should remain united.
