Full Medical Record Sought
Authorities have directed jail officials to provide a comprehensive record of Imran Khan’s medical care while in custody. This includes a detailed chart of his vital signs such as:
- Blood pressure
- Pulse rate
- Body temperature
- Blood sugar levels
The Punjab Home Department has also asked for consultants’ reports specifying the dates of medical examinations and identifying which members of the medical staff conducted check-ups inside the jail facility.
Daily Monitoring Inside Jail
According to jail officials, the on-duty doctor records Imran Khan’s vital signs three times a day. These regular check-ups are part of standard monitoring procedures to ensure his health condition remains stable while in detention.
Specialized Eye Treatment Arrangements
The government has additionally made arrangements for Imran Khan’s eye examination and treatment. He may be transferred to a hospital for further evaluation if required. For this purpose, a panel of two senior ophthalmologists from Al-Shifa Eye Hospital has been constituted.
