SUKKUR : A woman from Township Sector 4 staged a protest outside the Sukkur National Press Club against her husband, Ishtiaq Ahmed Qureshi, and her son, Muhammad Haris.
According to the report, Farzana, who lives with her daughter Aqsa, said during the protest that her husband allegedly comes to her home with his son and frequently subjects her to physical violence. She further alleged that they were attempting to evict her from her home.
She appealed to the Sindh Chief Minister, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Sukkur and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sukkur to provide her protection from her husband and son and ensure her safety.
